Description
The Social Circle City Board of Education is seeking a contractor to provide district-wide landscape maintenance, turf management, and mulch services for its facilities. The contractor will be responsible for routine grounds maintenance, chemical treatment services for turf areas, and furnishing and installing mulch in planted beds. The contract term will be one year with an option for renewal. The contractor must demonstrate experience in providing institutional or commercial grounds maintenance services, have appropriate licenses for herbicide/turf applications, and valid pesticide applicator certification/license.
• The services will be provided at four locations: Social Circle Elementary School, Social Circle Middle/High School, Social Circle Board of Education, and Transportation/Alternative School.
• The contractor will provide routine grounds maintenance including grass mowing, string trimming, edging, bed weeding, and herbicide application.
• The contractor will provide chemical treatment services for turf areas, including pre-emergent, post-emergent, and fertilization applications.
• The contractor will furnish and install mulch in planted beds at the Elementary School and Middle/High School/Central Office locations.
