Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to perform concrete pavement, sidewalk, curb‑and‑gutter, and related site work for multiple municipal parks (Phase 4b). The scope covers removal of existing concrete, installation of new reinforced 6‑in. concrete pavement, construction of 4‑in. and 5‑in. sidewalks, placement of aggregate base, seeding of turf, and provision of traffic control. Four optional alternates address specific park locations and allow for reduced work packages. Bids are submitted as unit‑price schedules; final payment will be based on actual quantities.
• Core work: ≈ 560 SY of reinforced concrete pavement, ~ 1,500 SY of sidewalks, ≈ 400 LF of curb/gutter, and associated aggregate base.
• Schedule: Substantial completion required by 03/01/2027; final completion by 04/01/2027.
