Description
The San Bernardino County, Land Use Services Department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide graffiti abatement services. The services will include the removal of graffiti from public and private properties in the unincorporated areas of the county. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. The contract period will be for a maximum of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing graffiti abatement services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
• Responding to service requests from county staff within 48 hours
• Maintaining a toll-free number to receive graffiti complaints from residents
• Printing the county's graffiti abatement program information on all trucks used for county services
• Furnishing all necessary equipment and materials to perform the services
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to apprenticeship and prevailing wage requirements.
