Iowa DPD is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing roof on Building 235 at the 185th Air Reserve Wing in Sioux City, IA. The work includes demolition of the existing EPDM membrane and insulation, removal of equipment, utility disconnections, installation of new 2‑layer rigid insulation, a new 90 mil EPDM roofing system, flashing, gutters with concrete splash pads, walk pads, and associated site protection and cleanup. The contract will be awarded on a lump‑sum basis, with a performance period of 120 days after notice to proceed. • Scope: Full roof tear‑down, disposal, new insulation and EPDM membrane, flashing, gutters, walk pads, equipment removal, and site restoration. • Delivery: Lump‑sum bid submitted electronically via IMPACS; mandatory material submittals within 10 days of NTP and close‑out documents within 60 days. • Requirements: Compliance with UFC 3‑110‑03 roofing standards, IDOT/SUDAS material specs, security clearances (AT Level I), daily cleanup, and coordination of deliveries and utility locates. • Timeline: Posting 20 May 2026, site‑visit (optional) 3 June 2026, bid deadline 17 June 2026 1 PM CDT, 120‑day performance window after award.
