The City of Columbus, Division of Water Reclamation, is seeking informal bids for the purchase of one tri-axle trailer. The trailer must meet specific specifications, including a 50,000-pound capacity, tri-axle suspension, and a minimum of 10,500 pounds and a maximum of 12,000 pounds weight. The successful bidder will be responsible for equipment coordination, including transportation and insurance. The trailer must be delivered with all fluid levels at the manufacturer's recommended full capacity, and the City of Columbus must be notified 24 hours prior to delivery. • The trailer must have a 50,000-pound capacity • The trailer weight must be between 10,500 pounds and 12,000 pounds • The suspension must be tri-axle with each axle having a rating of 25,000 pounds • The front axle must be air lift with raise and lower switch on the trailer • The axle bearings must be oil bath type • The brakes must be sized appropriately per the manufacturer for the application • The axle spacing must be between 48 inches and 50 inches • The overall trailer length must not exceed 35 feet • The trailer must have an adjustable height 3-inch pintle hook • The trailer must have safety chains with hooks • The trailer must have a 7-pin round trailer plug with round type pins • The frame must be one-piece cold-formed I-beam type • The decking must be 2” nominal hard wood • The trailer must have a bolt-on, 2-speed jack with a minimum rating of 25,000 pounds • The deck height must be between 33 inches and 34 inches • The deck width must be 102 inches • The deck length must be between 22 feet and 24 feet • The deck must have at least 5 D-ring tie downs per side • The trailer must have a beavertail with a minimum of 5 feet and a maximum of 6 feet of length • The trailer must have spring assist type ramps • The ramps must be ladder style • The trailer must have integrated storage in the tongue with a lockable lid • The trailer must be standard black color • The lights must be grommet mounted LED type • The trailer must include an operator's manual • The trailer must include a complete OEM parts and repair manual in print or digital copy
