The Florida Keys Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified contractor to reframe and replace insulators on the existing 138 kV transmission line segment between Tavernier and Islamorada. This is a Not‑to‑Exceed (NTE) solicitation covering 11 miles of line, 179 poles, and associated hardware. The contractor will be responsible for pole assessments, removal of existing insulators, installation of new insulators, and any necessary structural modifications to ensure continued service reliability. • Scope includes detailed pole inspections, reframing work, and replacement of insulators on 179 existing poles. • Deliverables: complete installation per the provided specifications, compliance with utility safety standards, and submission of as‑built documentation. • Required documents: vendor cut sheets, bill of material (reference), and a completed schedule of pole work (Exhibit B).
