Building 686 Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly Installation Project

The City of Victorville is seeking a contractor to install two Reduced Pressure Detector Assemblies (RPDAs) and two Post Indicator Valves (PIVs) at Building 686. The project includes labor, tools, finishing, clean up, and incidentals required for the proper completion of the work. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes, standards, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements. • The contractor must install one 6-inch RPDA and one 8-inch RPDA on the designated service line. • The contractor must provide proper bracing, supports, thrust blocks, and bedding as required. • The contractor must ensure all devices are installed per manufacturer specifications and local fire/water requirements. • The contractor must perform flushing, pressure testing, and certification of the RPDA. • The contractor must remove and dispose of existing PIVs and furnish and install two new PIVs of appropriate size and type.
