This solicitation seeks a design‑bid‑build contractor to construct a new two‑story, 12,920 sf laboratory/office facility (P084) and an optional 17,978 sf laboratory (P1016) at Naval Station Newport, RI. The work includes steel‑frame construction, shallow foundations, roofing, masonry/metal exterior walls, extensive site preparation (storm‑water retention, utilities, parking, landscaping), demolition of an existing building for the optional scope, and integration of security‑controlled systems.
