Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a design‑build contractor to repair and renovate the Officer‑to‑Crew (OTC) dormitory “King Hall” (Building 291) at Naval Station Newport, RI. The contractor will be responsible for all design, engineering, demolition, hazardous‑material abatement, structural repair, mechanical/electrical upgrades, fire‑protection, accessibility, and construction management required to bring the facility into compliance with current UFC, NFPA, and DoD standards. The project is a large‑scale, multi‑year effort with a performance window of approximately 3.5 years, and it must be executed by a MAC‑holder under a GCC MAC contract.
