Description
The Town of Coventry is seeking a qualified contractor to construct an ADA‑compliant footpath for the Harris Playground and, optionally, an alternate path at Giblin Park. The work includes demolition of the existing path, installation of detectable warning surfaces, sub‑base preparation, hot‑mix asphalt paving, edge finishing, grading, and site restoration in accordance with RIDOT specifications. Bids are to be submitted as sealed hard‑copy envelopes by the deadline, and the award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder within 90 days of opening.
• Primary scope: ≈ 60 ft × 5 ft ADA‑compliant asphalt path at 108 Howard Avenue.
• Alternate scope: ≈ 80 ft × 5 ft path at Giblin Park (optional).
• Must meet RIDOT standards, provide a detectable warning panel, and comply with prevailing‑wage, insurance, and MBE participation requirements.
• All bids must be hard‑copy, sealed, and include required certifications and forms.
