David L. Tippin Water Treatment Facility Lab Strobic Air Exhaust System Replacement with Double Wall Plenum (Bid Discount)

The City of Tampa is seeking bids for the replacement of the Strobic Air fan exhaust system and double wall plenum at the David L. Tippin Water Treatment Facility Lab. The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing system, and the installation of a new Strobic Air Tri-Stack two fan fume exhaust system with a Phenicon HS coating 316 stainless steel double wall plenum and NEMA-4X disconnect switch. The contractor will be required to provide a 1-year warranty on parts and labor, and the manufacturer will provide a 2-7 year warranty on the fan and motor. The work must be performed during normal business hours. • The contractor must have a valid license to do business in Florida. • The contractor must have been in business for at least five years. • The contractor's HVAC technicians must have appropriate licenses. • The contractor must remove and replace the laboratory Strobic Air fan exhaust system and plenum. • The contractor must provide crane, rigging, and any necessary equipment. • The contractor must connect to curb and existing controls and electrical. • The contractor must start and test operation. • The City of Tampa Water Department will provide cleaning/neutralization of existing chemicals in fan and hood prior to replacement.
