Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential vendors on their ability to provide an Argos Biometer for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The biometer will be used in the Eye Clinic to capture biometric data and aid in the selection of an appropriate intraocular lens. The contractor shall supply, install, and provide all required electrical interfacing, as well as provide training to staff members. The following are key points about the job:
* The contractor shall provide a projected schedule in terms of days from the time of award
* The contractor shall provide training on the operation of the equipment
* The contractor shall perform a Government Acceptance Test in the presence of the Contracting Officer’s Representative and designated Ophthalmology Staff
* The contractor shall provide all labor, staff, materials, tools, equipment, and other resources for the installation of the equipment
* The contractor shall be responsible for removing all packaging materials and related waste and disposing of these items offsite
