This RFI seeks information from qualified contractors to perform the removal of three in‑ground vehicle lifts at the CJW Operations and Maintenance Facility in Salinas and to restore the concrete slab to a minimum 4,000 psi compressive strength for future maintenance equipment. The agency is gathering qualifications, methods, and schedules before potentially issuing a formal Invitation for Bids. Contractors must demonstrate capability in demolition, hazardous‑material handling, high‑strength concrete placement, and compliance with permitting, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Remove lift cylinders, hydraulic lines, and associated underground components; dispose of debris per regulations.
• Restore the concrete slab with new high‑strength concrete, matching existing finish, flatness, and levelness tolerances, and apply an industrial‑grade sealer.
• Provide required permits, safety plans, a one‑year workmanship warranty, and a detailed project schedule prior to mobilization.
