524010-Electrification 15KV Substation Submetering and Management System

The project involves the installation of power monitoring equipment on major electrical lines and buildings at the Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore, Maryland. The work includes the installation of an Electrical Power Management system (EPMS) with electric meters on each MV switch in the DMT 15KV substation, as well as the connection of the meters to WiFi through telecommunications installations, including new fiber optic cable runs. The project requires minor ductbank construction in several locations and the disposal of associated construction waste. The contractor must ensure that the existing facilities continue to operate while the work progresses, and that the contractor's equipment and construction activity do not interrupt cargo processing and storage activity. • The project requires the contractor to provide a baseline construction schedule and monthly progress schedule updates. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to erosion and sediment control, health and safety, and environmental protection. • The contractor must also provide documentation of its Health and Safety Program and adhere to the Administration's security procedures. • The project has a budget range of $1,000,000 to $2,500,000. • The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must provide references. • The project requires the contractor to have a Maryland Registered Land Surveyor on staff. • The contractor must also have a Hot Work Program in place.
