The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from vendors who can provide Guldmann Patient Ceiling Lift Systems or equivalent products. The systems must meet specific salient characteristics, including weight capacity, emergency stop, and mechanical and electrical emergency lowering devices. The contractor shall provide the systems, ensure safety certification after installation, and offer a minimum three-year warranty. The scope of work includes providing coverage in all patient care rooms and maximum coverage in patient bathrooms. • The systems must have an integrated scale built into the motor casing. • The systems must have a weight capacity of 605 lbs, 825 lbs, or 1100 lbs. • The systems must have emergency stop and mechanical and electrical emergency lowering devices. • The systems must allow for adequate lifting height for transferring patients and for fall recovery. • The contractor shall provide a Basic Troubleshooting training class for 2 Boise VAMC staff.
