2025 CDBG Wastewater System Improvements

The City of Hazlehurst is seeking bids for the construction of the 2025 CDBG Wastewater System Improvements. The project includes the installation of a mechanical fine screen, generator, and automatic transfer switch. The contract time will be 150 consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $540 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Hazlehurst reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids. • The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. • The contract documents and plans are available for public inspection at the City of Hazlehurst and the office of the Engineer, WGK, Inc. • Bids will be accepted only under the name of the bidder to whom the contract documents have been issued by the Engineer. • State law requires non-resident bidders to attach a copy of their resident state's current law pertaining to non-resident contractors with their bid.
