Tree Removals Right-of-Ways

The County requires tree services, which includes tree removal, stump grinding or stump treatment, and all associated activities. Some trees may be near powerlines. The quantity of trees over the duration of the contract is unknown, but it is estimated that there could be fifty removals in 2026. All services will be performed on Hennepin County roadway rights of way. • The Contractor will provide tree services as requested by the County, and only requested and pre-approved services accompanied by work authorization will be compensated. • The work shall be completed in accordance with the most current editions of the American National Standards Institute’s ANSI A300 and ANSI Z133.1. • The Contractor shall be experienced in the removal and pruning of trees and other plant material. • The Contractor shall arrange for disposal of tree removal debris in compliance with all state and local regulations. • The premises are to be cleaned up and restored to original condition. • Reuse of wood for lumber is encouraged. • The Contractor shall be solely responsible for pedestrian and vehicular safety and control within the work site.
