Storm Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program Plan

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a contractor to provide storm sewer cleaning and inspection services. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and inspecting storm sewer infrastructure, including pipes, catch basins, and stormwater conveyance system features, to ensure compliance with the Colorado Discharge Permit System (CDPS) regulations. The contractor will also be required to compile program documentation, including mapping, inspection reports, condition assessments, cleaning records, and regulatory compliance data. The contract will be for a period of three years, with two optional one-year extensions. • The contractor will be required to clean and inspect at least 20% of the permittee's MS4 system pipes draining to the South Platte River Segment 14 each year. • The contractor will be required to collaborate with RTD to execute and build upon a CDPS compliant storm sewer cleaning and inspection program plan. • The contractor will be required to provide equipment, staffing, and record keeping for the storm sewer cleaning and inspection program. • The contractor will be required to work with multiple RTD working groups to shape, build, and fulfill a viable Storm Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program Plan (SSCIPP).
