Description
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking bids for the construction of airport improvements at the Levelland Municipal Airport. The project includes electrical system improvements, removal and installation of new Medium Intensity Runway Edge Lights and runway/taxiway guidance signs, installation of new buried conduit, replacement of a PAPI-4 system with a PAPI-2 system, replacement of primary windcone, and replacement of airport rotating beacon.
• The project has an estimated cost of $1,729,240 for the base bid and $12,500 for additive alternate 1.
• Bidders must submit their bids by March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
• A pre-bid conference will be held on February 24, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Levelland Municipal Airport Terminal Building.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond with the Power of Attorney and claim page, each in the full amount of the contract price.
