Septic Tank Replacement

The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is seeking a contractor to replace a septic tank at the Rajdamri Compound. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing tank, installing a new septic system, and properly disposing of waste materials. The contract type is firm-fixed price, and the project is expected to be completed within 20 calendar days. The contractor must provide certified equipment, labor, and tools to complete the project. • The contractor must inspect the current septic system to confirm the extent of damage and assess site conditions for the replacement. • The contractor must submit shop drawings and material approval requests to the Post Engineer for review and approval prior to ordering or installing any materials. • The contractor must provide temporary fencing, barricades, and ventilation as required to protect existing property, adjacent properties, and personnel. • The contractor must pump out and properly dispose of all waste materials in the broken septic tank. • The contractor must install sheet piles or equivalent materials around the septic tank to protect the surrounding soil from landslides. • The contractor must excavate the area for the new septic tank according to the approved site plan and depth requirements. • The contractor must backfill the excavated area after the installation, ensuring that the soil is properly compacted. • The contractor must conduct a full test of the new septic system to ensure proper functionality.
