Description
The contract calls for the complete supply, removal, pit refurbishment, installation, start‑up, testing, and training of six (6) recessed mounted drive‑on platform lifts (two for Wayne Garage and four for Meadowlands Garage). The work includes concrete pit construction, chemical anchoring, electrical and pneumatic integration, provision of performance and payment bonds, and compliance with Buy‑America, prevailing‑wage, DBE, and extensive certification requirements. The contractor must submit a firm‑fixed price bid, a 10 % bid bond, and must meet a 360‑day performance window after notice to proceed.
• Provide fully engineered lift systems (≈ 78 k lb capacity) with platform extensions and integrated control consoles.
• Remove existing lifts, construct reinforced concrete pits, install anchorage, conduit, and pneumatic lines, and perform start‑up commissioning.
• Deliver required documentation (warranties, manuals, DBE certifications, Buy‑America compliance) and conduct on‑site training for NJ Transit staff.
