Air Traffic Control and Landing System Equipment Upgrade

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Sustainment Center (AFMC) is seeking a contractor to upgrade the Air Traffic Control and Landing System (ATCALS) equipment infrastructure at Hill AFB, UT and the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR). The project involves the installation of new equipment and the upgrade of existing infrastructure. The contractor will be responsible for providing a site investigation, determining proper scheduling, communications installation/test planning, environmental controls, and safety controls prior to mobilization. The project is expected to be completed within a 12-month period of performance. Key aspects of the project include: • Upgrade of ATCALS equipment infrastructure • Installation of new equipment • Upgrade of existing infrastructure • Site investigation and planning • Environmental controls and safety controls • Compliance with Air Force regulations and requirements The contractor will be required to provide a technical proposal, including a Contractor Statement of Work (CSOW) that describes how they plan to accomplish the project. The government will provide access to the site and will arrange for flight line badge access for the contractor.
