Z2DA--Provide Hurricane Hardening at Generator Farm

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide a structural enclosure over the generator farm at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The enclosure shall provide protection to the components and personnel during a hurricane. The contractor shall complete the work required within 900 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm. The requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Key aspects of the job include: * Providing a structural enclosure over the generator farm * Covering approximately 8,500 sf of exposed space * Protecting components and personnel during a hurricane * Completing the work within 900 calendar days * Following construction drawings and specifications prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm
