The Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands seeks a qualified firm to design, engineer, and construct a renewable‑energy‑powered, battery‑coupled DC fast‑charging network for government‑owned facilities. The effort includes solar‑canopy installation, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integration, high‑power DC fast‑charging equipment, micro‑grid control, utility‑interconnection, permitting, commissioning, and one‑year operations & maintenance, with optional extensions through year 5. The work will be performed at two sites (Market Square East, St. Thomas and Viya Building, St. Croix) and must meet island‑specific hurricane‑resistance and utility‑import limits.
• Design‑build EPC services for solar canopies, BESS, and 100‑150 kW DC fast chargers (dual‑port, CCS1 & NACS)
• Integration of renewable generation, battery storage, and OCPP‑compatible micro‑grid controls to allow islanded operation and peak‑shaving
• Full permitting, utility coordination (VIWAPA), commissioning, training, and first‑year O&M, with optional years 2‑5 O&M support
