OCEAN FLOOR MAPPING WITH LONG-ENDURANCE UNMANNED SYSTEMS

The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) is seeking a contractor to provide ocean floor mapping services using long-endurance unmanned surface vehicles (USVs). The contractor will be responsible for collecting and processing high-quality bathymetric data, as well as providing a secure online platform for real-time mission monitoring and data transmission. The contract will have a 24-month base ordering period, and the contractor must be able to deliver a minimum of 2000 linear nautical miles of IHO compliant bathymetric data per month. The contractor will also be required to provide a report of survey (ROS) at the completion of each mission survey. Key features of the contract include: * The contractor must have current capability and experience to conduct long-endurance USV survey operations in all mission profiles described in the performance work statement (PWS) * The contractor must provide a comprehensive, contractor-owned, contractor-operated, government-augmented (COCOGA) service using long-endurance USV to perform high-resolution ocean floor mapping * The contractor must ensure that all deployed assets are configured to operate in the varying sea states, thermal gradients, and atmospheric conditions characteristic of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean basins * The contractor must provide a secure online platform that provides near-real-time capability for mission monitoring and data transmission * The contractor must commit to providing a report of survey (ROS) generated at the completion of each mission survey * The contractor must demonstrate its capability to deliver a minimum of 2000 linear nautical miles of IHO compliant bathymetric data per month
