R-- Annual Maintenance for Kongsberg Demodulators

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking a vendor to provide annual maintenance services for seven Kongsberg wide-band demodulators and test generators. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing software, firmware, and patch updates, as well as technical support as needed. The contract will be for a period of five years, from 10/05/2026 through 10/04/2031. • The vendor must have the ability to provide maintenance and on-call phone and email support for the demodulators. • The vendor must have unique technical knowledge and proprietary design details used for maintaining the demodulators. • The vendor must be able to offer software, firmware, and patch updates, and technical support for the demodulators. • The USGS is aware of no other source that can provide the above services, and therefore intends to make an award to Kongsberg Aerospace & Defense, unless it is contacted by any other vendor who believes they have obtained similar technical expertise and can provide the same service.
