Description
The Napoleon Community Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish a school building and perform site improvements. The scope of work includes building demolition, removal of foundations and footings, site improvements removal, and site restoration. The contractor must demonstrate experience with similar demolition projects, proper licensing and insurance, and the ability to meet the project timeline. The proposal must include a company profile, project approach, project schedule, cost proposal, and proof of insurance and licensing.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Complete demolition of the existing school building
• Removal of foundations, footings, and slabs
• Proper handling and disposal of all debris
• Removal and disposal of sidewalks, fencing, and playground equipment
• Backfilling of all excavated areas with suitable material
• Grading of site to ensure proper drainage
• Final surface to be two inches of top soil, level and free of debris
• Hydroseeding all disturbed areas
