Dixieanne Alleyways Improvements Project - Phase 2

The City of Sacramento is seeking a qualified engineering consultant firm or team to provide professional services for the Dixieanne Alleyways Improvements Project – Phase 2. The project includes improving public alleyways, implementing low-stress pedestrian and bicycle paths, and providing connections to transit stops, local services, and local stores. The scope of services includes preliminary engineering, public outreach, stakeholder outreach, utility coordination, right-of-way, environmental clearance, final design, preparation of plans, special provisions/technical specifications and estimate, bidding assistance, and design services during construction. • The project is state funded through the Strategic Growth Council’s Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program. • The project includes improving 4,000 linear feet of alleyways in the Dixieanne neighborhood. • The consultant will be responsible for project management, public outreach, and coordination with outside agencies and stakeholders. • The consultant will prepare and submit plans, specifications, and estimates for the project. • The consultant will provide construction support and engineering assistance during construction.
