WTP Office Interior Renovation

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a contractor to perform interior renovation of two office spaces within the Water Treatment Plant at 919 Sunset Road. Work includes demolition of existing finishes, relocation and re‑installation of furniture, installation of new ceiling tiles, flooring, baseboards, lighting fixtures, a ceiling fan (to be excluded per Addendum), drywall repair, and full dust/fume containment—especially for a continuously operating laboratory. The contractor must provide temporary utilities, protective coverings, obtain all required permits, and adhere to strict working‑hour and noise‑ordinance constraints. The contract is expected to last approximately 90 days, with a 5‑year warranty on workmanship. • Demolition, removal, and re‑installation of existing office finishes and casework. • Installation of new ceiling tile systems (re‑using existing insulation), carpet tile, baseboard, paint, and specified lighting fixtures. • Full gypsum board assembly per Specification 09‑21‑16, including acoustic insulation and metal stud framing. • Mandatory site protection, dust containment, and environmental safeguards for the Lab Supervisor’s office. • All work must be performed between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Mon‑Fri) with limited Saturday/night approvals; no Sunday work.
