Asphalt Emulsions and Frictional Asphaltic Surface Preservation Treatment

The Williamson County is seeking qualified companies to provide Asphalt Emulsions and Frictional Asphaltic Surface Preservation Treatment. The treatment should be per Item 300 and Special Specification 3001 of the Texas Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets and Bridges 2024. The county reserves the right to accept the best value response or reject any and/or all responses. Some key points to consider: • The bid bond for goods and services solicitation exceeding $100,000 may be required in the amount of 5% of the total contract price. • The successful respondent may be required to post a performance bond up to the full amount of the contract. • Payment will be made by the respondent's preferred method as filed with the Williamson County Auditor’s Office. • The designated Purchasing Agent for this solicitation is Fernando Ramirez, Purchasing Specialist I.
