Communications Building Roof Replacement Project

The County of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is seeking bids for the Communications Building Roof Replacement Project. The project involves the installation of a Modified Bitumen Roofing system, including preparation of roofing substrates, insulation, membrane, asphalt, membrane flashing, expansion joints, and other components required for a complete and proper weatherproof installation. The contractor must confirm with the Roofing System Manufacturer all steps required to complete the installation of a 30-year warranted roof system prior to commencement of work. • The project requires a 30-year warranty for the roofing system. • The contractor must have a minimum of five years of documented experience in performing work of this section. • The contractor must provide a certified Pre-Approved Garland Contractor. • The project involves the removal of existing roofing layers, insulation, recovery board, base flashings, sheet metal, vent stack flashings, and other items required for installation of the new roof. • The contractor must verify all dimensions and conditions in the field prior to demolition and notify the Engineer should any conditions encountered vary from the Contract Documents.
