Description
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative proposals to support the mission of the Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO) and Aerospace Projects Office (APO). Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. The ACO is seeking innovative ideas and disruptive technologies that support the development of adaptive warfighting architectures, while the APO is seeking technologies that enable Next Generation Responsive Strike air platforms.
• The ACO is interested in areas such as architecture, sensing and tracking, lethality, survivability, sustainability, communications, introspection, forensics, and reverse engineering.
• The APO is interested in areas such as structures and materials, high speed weapon separation, dual mode propulsion, power generation, thermal management systems, and high Mach turbine engine.
• Proposals will be evaluated based on overall scientific and technical merit, potential contribution and relevance to the DARPA mission, and cost realism.
• Multiple award instrument types may be awarded, including procurement contracts and other transactions.
