US 50/BUS 80 Community Connectivity Project

The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide consultant services for the US 50/BUS 80 Community Connectivity Project. The project aims to conduct planning studies and conceptual designs to explore the obsolete decommissioned freeway structures on Cabaldon Parkway and Jefferson Boulevard and design alternatives for local use. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing full service, task management, scheduling, and meeting, and coordination with Caltrans and other agencies to complete a Project Initiation Document and an Infill and Transit Oriented Development Feasibility Analysis. • The project will involve stakeholder and community engagement, including the development of a Community Participation Plan and the creation of a stakeholder and community engagement list. • The consultant will conduct a community assessment to identify the target community and determine appropriate engagement strategies. • The project will also involve the development of a Project Initiation Document, which will include a technical report, a draft PID, and a final PID. • The consultant will also conduct a market analysis to evaluate absorption potential and identify feasible residential, mixed-use, and commercial product types and densities based on market demand and achievable rents or sales prices.
