RPC Power Factor Correction Work Package 1 - Demolition

The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking a subcontractor to provide all labor, oversight, tools, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the demolition of existing buildings (B308 and B311) with equipment inside them to create adequate space within the MSS Yard. The project involves the demolition, disassembly, and removal of existing assets, including metal buildings, a non-operational synchronous condenser, and associated electrical equipment and cabling and wiring serving the condenser. The subcontractor must comply with approved BIO documents as well as SLAC, DOE, and ES&H standards. • The project requires the demolition of existing buildings and equipment to create space for the installation of new power factor correction equipment. • The subcontractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work safely and in compliance with relevant standards. • The project is a federally funded construction project, and the subcontractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and other relevant regulations. • The subcontractor must be registered in good standing with the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for a subcontract award.
