Description
The City of Fayetteville is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive lot cleaning, asbestos abatement, demolition of existing structures, and debris removal at 827 E Orange Street. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days after a Notice to Proceed, and all demolition activities are contingent upon proper vegetation control and utility clearance. The contractor must hold the necessary state licenses, maintain specified insurance coverage, and provide all required permits, disposal documentation, and final inspection certifications.
• Demolish all structures and remove all on‑site items (trailer, junk vehicles, fencing, etc.) while preserving existing asphalt/concrete parking surfaces.
• Conduct asbestos abatement by a licensed asbestos contractor and submit clearance certificates.
• Perform lot cleaning, vegetation removal, grading, and fill to restore proper drainage; seed disturbed areas.
• Provide all required permits, insurance, and safety plans; adhere to a $500 per day liquidated‑damage clause for schedule overruns.
