The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive dewatering well‑water pump removal, installation, and repair services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The work includes labor, tools, materials, equipment, travel, disposal, and all incidentals necessary to repair or replace well pumps, motors, control equipment, flow meters, pressure gauges, and associated monitoring gear, as well as well‑cleaning and remote‑access installation. The contract is a three‑year, fixed‑price agreement with a maximum bid ceiling of $484,000 and a $10,000 allowance for materials. The contractor must hold a valid Class A General Engineering or C‑10 Electrical license, be DIR‑registered, and meet small‑business/DVBE participation requirements. Prevailing‑wage rules, insurance, bonding, and various certifications (civil‑rights, Darfur, etc.) apply.
