Replacement of Smart Cushion on I-80 WB at MM 4 in Council Bluffs, Iowa

The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for the replacement of Smart Cushion on I-80 WB at MM 4 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The contractor will be required to provide all materials, labor, mobilization, traffic control, and equipment necessary for the replacement. The work can be done between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The contractor must be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor and provide a current Traffic Control Technician Certificate. The estimated completion date is March 30, 2026. • The contractor must remove all remaining damaged guardrail material and dispose of it off the project site. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance per the standard terms and conditions. • The contractor must provide any grade work necessary to return the location back to the original grade prior to project start. • The contractor must work with the field location to notify the TMC when repair work is being made.
