Caldwell Executive Airport Engineering Services

The City of Caldwell is seeking an engineering consultant to provide professional services for the Caldwell Executive Airport. The selected consultant will provide engineering, surveying, planning, environmental studies, testing, FAA grant preparation, and administration assistance for various airport projects. The contract will be for up to five years, and the consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines. The scope of work includes runway, taxiway, taxi lane, and apron construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation, as well as pavement maintenance, airport access road construction, and utilities. The consultant will also be responsible for providing qualified inspectors with relevant FAA project experience for construction inspection. • The consultant will provide a detailed narrative describing how they will accomplish the scope of work, including a timeline with key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. • The consultant will be required to demonstrate their experience in airport projects comparable to the proposed projects. • The consultant will be required to provide evidence of their establishment and implementation of an Affirmative Action Program. • The consultant will be evaluated based on their capability to perform the services required, recent experience in airport projects, reputation for personal and professional integrity and competence, key personnel's professional background and successful relevant experience, and technical understanding of the projects.
