Construct EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades - Philadelphia, PA

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is soliciting proposals for a design-bid-build construction project to upgrade the EHRM infrastructure at the Philadelphia, PA VAMC. The project includes upgrades to existing rooms and telecommunication closets, relocation, reconfiguration, expansion, and renovation of spaces in buildings 1, 2, 3, 21, and 30. The construction work must comply with VA standards and regulations, including the "Infrastructure Standard for Telecommunications Spaces (ISTS) V4.0" and the "VA Physical Security Design and Resiliency Manual (PDRSM)" requirements. The project will be awarded to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern, and the period of performance is approximately 730 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. • The project requires a site visit prior to bid to ensure the contractor understands the existing conditions. • The construction work must be completed in phases, as not all work areas will be available concurrently. • The available work hours are from 5pm to 5am ET, and all materials and equipment must be moved to the work areas after staff/patients have vacated. • The project must comply with VA standards and regulations, including the "Infrastructure Standard for Telecommunications Spaces (ISTS) V4.0" and the "VA Physical Security Design and Resiliency Manual (PDRSM)" requirements.
