Police Uniforms, Ballistic Shields and Fire Body Armor

The City of Tucson Police Department and Tucson Fire Department are seeking a vendor to provide formal uniforms, general uniforms, ballistic shields, and body armor vests. The contract will be for one year, with the option for renewal. The vendor must be able to provide in-person and online ordering, as well as employee account tracking and stipend balances. The city estimates an annual usage of $300,000. Key requirements include: • Providing a full-time retail store within 25 miles of the city or an online retail platform • Maintaining a reasonable local stock of all standard uniform items • Providing extreme ranges of sizes or any odd sizes required within 30 days • Offering emergency alterations or outfitting for exceptional circumstances • Providing a primary single point of contact knowledgeable in police uniforms and equipment • Employing staff with experience fitting police officers for ballistic vests The city is looking for a vendor that can provide high-quality uniforms and equipment, as well as excellent customer service.
