Description
The US Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the purchase of Digital Autocollimators. The autocollimators will be used for calibrating angle generating equipment and adapters. Interested vendors should submit a brief capability statement, including company information, relevant experience, and rough order of magnitude pricing. The total estimated quantity is 36 units over 4 years.
• The autocollimators must have a range of at least +/- 500 arc-second in both axes.
• The accuracy shall be +/- 0.5 arc-second or better in both axes.
• The repeatability shall be at least +/- 0.1 arc-second.
• The aperture shall be 2.0 inches +/- 0.5 inches.
• The autocollimators shall be capable of displaying measurement units in various formats.
• The autocollimators shall have an LCD display with PC user interface controls.
• The autocollimators shall be equipped with a supporting mounting fixture with leveling adjustments in both X and Y axes.
