Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for the provision of 41 units of backup batteries, specifically the Accu Option Backup Battery Pack (Part Number: 7102244), for the Dialog+ Dialysis Units. The backup batteries are required for life safety measurements and the protection of patients and the equipment. The contractor shall provide all equipment in "brand new" condition, approved by the FDA where applicable, and sourced directly from the OEM. The period of performance is 5 business days from the time of award, and the place of performance is the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veteran Affairs North Texas Healthcare System, Main Campus, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas 75216.
• The contractor shall comply with all applicable records management laws and regulations.
• The contractor shall maintain all records created for Government use or created in the course of performing the contract.
• The contractor shall ensure that all contractor employees assigned to this contract who create, work with, or otherwise handle records are required to take VHA-provided records management training.
• The contractor shall comply with the VA's information security and privacy policies, including the use of encryption and secure transmission of sensitive information.
• The contractor shall report any unauthorized disclosures of information, data, documentary materials, records, or equipment to the Contracting Officer.
