Roof Restoration at Scales Elementary School

The City of Murfreesboro is seeking bids for roof restoration at Scales Elementary School. The project includes the removal and replacement of wet insulation and 5/8" water-resistant type 'X' gypsum board, as well as the installation of a new fully adhered EPDM membrane. The bidder must also provide unit price proposals for additional work, such as EPDM membrane patch repair and seam repair. The bidder must comply with the Tennessee Licensing Law and have a Drug-Free Workplace Program. The bid must include a contingency allowance of 5% of the bid. • The project requires the bidder to examine the site and be informed of all conditions. • The bidder must propose and agree to commence work with an adequate force and equipment. • The bidder must complete all work by the date set forth in Section 01 32 13 - Scheduling of Work. • The bidder must execute a Contract within 45 days after written notice of acceptance. • The bidder must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act and have a program that meets the requirements of the City of Murfreesboro's program.
