Description
The Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) is seeking proposals for four Type 2 Restricted Category Turbine Powered Helicopter services to support wildfire operations. The helicopters will be used for bucket work and movement of cargo. The contract term is anticipated to be five years from the effective date. Proposers must submit their proposals by January 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The proposal should include information about the helicopter, pilot, and pricing.
• The helicopter should be a Type 2 Restricted Category Turbine Powered Helicopter.
• The pilot should have experience in flying a turbine-powered helicopter.
• The proposal should include pricing information, including the hourly rate and daily availability rate.
The ODF encourages the participation of small businesses, certified by the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) in all contracting opportunities.
