Request for Qualifications-Architectural Services

Montgomery County Public Schools is soliciting qualifications for architectural services associated with two categories: Special Projects and Major Capital Projects. The scope of work includes design, construction, and project management services for various MCPS facilities. The selected firms will be placed on a list of prequalified firms, which will be eligible to receive project-specific Request for Proposals (RFPs) at a later date. The key services required include architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering, and life safety services. • The project categories include Special Projects with a construction value of $5,000,000 and under, and Major Capital Projects with a construction value greater than $5,000,000. • The scope of services includes design, construction, and project management services for various MCPS facilities. • The selected firms will be required to demonstrate their experience and qualifications in providing architectural services for similar projects. • The firms will be evaluated based on their company background and project experience, key personnel, approach to project management, and other factors.
