MANAGEMENT OF SOLOMON CALHOUN COMMUNITY CENTER POOL

The St. Johns County - Purchasing Department is seeking a contractor to manage the Solomon Calhoun Community Center Pool. The contractor will be responsible for operating and maintaining the pool, facilitating aquatic programs, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facility. The contractor must provide lifeguards, maintain equipment, and perform daily and regular maintenance tasks. The contractor will also be responsible for managing user groups, scheduling, and revenue generation. The contract will require the contractor to develop and implement an advertising and marketing plan, as well as provide monthly reports and invoices. Some key aspects of the job include: • Operating the pool seven days a week, with varying hours of operation throughout the year • Providing lifeguards and ensuring the safety of patrons • Maintaining the pool and surrounding areas, including daily and regular maintenance tasks • Managing user groups and scheduling to maximize revenue and minimize costs • Developing and implementing an advertising and marketing plan to promote the pool and its programs • Providing monthly reports and invoices to the County
