Description
The TCAPS Central Grade School Renovation project involves the partial demolition, renovation, and addition to an existing public-school facility. The work includes selective demolition, extensive interior renovations, construction of a new multi-story building addition, complete roof replacement, and comprehensive upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems. The project also includes elevator modernization, exterior masonry restoration, and site improvements.
• The project requires bidders to submit electronic bids through Building Connected.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM local time.
• Bidders must provide bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid.
• Contractors must be bondable and include the cost of furnishing a performance bond and payment bond in their proposal.
• A current contractor qualification statement must be on file with Miller-Davis Company to be awarded a contract.
