Cornerstone Schools LED Lighting Installation

The Cornerstone Education Group is seeking a contractor to perform comprehensive LED lighting upgrades across three schools: Jefferson Douglass Academy, Washington Parks Academy, and select areas of Lincoln-King High School. The project includes the removal and replacement or retrofit of existing fluorescent, CFL, and incandescent fixtures with high-efficiency LED fixtures, lamps, and retrofit kits. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, installation materials, equipment, coordination, and proper disposal/recycling of removed materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key aspects of the project include: • Removal and replacement of existing lighting fixtures • Retrofit of existing fixtures with high-efficiency LED fixtures, lamps, and retrofit kits • Necessary wiring modifications and ballast removal • Coordination with the district to minimize disruption • Adherence to safety protocols and full system commissioning to ensure all installed lighting is operational and meets design standards
