Description
The City of New York is seeking qualified vendors to supply Class 7 and Class 8 heavy‑duty trucks with a menu of body options (dry‑freight, lift‑gate, platform, hook‑lift, roll‑off, refrigerated, etc.) under a five‑year indefinite‑quantity “C” contract. The procurement is competitive sealed‑bid, and all bids must be submitted electronically via NYC PASSPort by the stated deadline. The contract includes detailed specifications for engine, transmission, safety equipment, telematics, and warranty, as well as mandatory inspection and delivery schedules.
• Deliver Class 7 (≥ 27 000 lb GVWR) and Class 8 (≥ 58 000 lb GVWR) trucks, complete with optional bodies and required accessories.
• Meet strict NYC emissions, safety‑guard, side‑guard, telematics (Geotab) and Intelligent Speed Assistance requirements.
• Provide full OEM documentation, warranty (2‑year bumper‑to‑bumper), training videos, and adhere to a phased delivery schedule (pilot model, second unit, then subsequent units).
