ON-CALL CITYWIDE SPORTS FIELDS LIGHTING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES

The City of Laguna Niguel is seeking a qualified electrical contractor to provide on‑call maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, testing, and emergency response services for its Musco sports‑field lighting systems across all city parks and recreation facilities. Work is performed on an as‑needed basis, with strict response‑time requirements for emergency, urgent, and routine service requests, and the contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals. The contract is initially for three years with two optional one‑year extensions and includes provisions for CPI‑based price adjustments, prevailing‑wage compliance, and comprehensive insurance coverage. • Provide 24/7 emergency lighting repairs with response within 2 hrs (on‑site within 4 hrs). • Perform preventive‑maintenance inspections, lamp/fixture replacements, driver/ballast repairs, wiring and control‑system diagnostics, pole‑mounted equipment service, aiming adjustments, and system testing. • Submit detailed service reports for each work order, adhere to Cal/OSHA, NEC, and local safety standards, and maintain records for at least three years. • Must be a California DIR‑registered contractor with ≥ 10 years of similar experience and an annual contract‑value history of ≥ $50 k. • Hourly rates are capped by the “Proposal Fee Sheet – Labor”; cost adjustments after year 3 are limited to regional CPI.
